Lotaya Douty grew up on a beautiful Island called Martinique, owned by France where she lived with her bilingual English and French family. She was exposed to the Entertainment Industry at the age of six, first as a Dancehall dancer then moved on to acting and singing. While in High School, she participated in the creation of school plays with the help of teachers and classmates, she was also part of the cast. In spite of her busy schedule with school and acting, she still found time to compete in singing contests and found herself among the top three contestants. Lotaya graduated and went on to college, where she studied Business Administration and English. During her college years, she wrote and produced a play called “Les Moments Difficiles” and a short called “Les Dangers Du Campus” which was screened on campus for students and the public. Later on, she left for France and focused on developing her skills in the field of Business and Administration. Lotaya then migrated to the United States to be with her loved ones and also to follow her dreams. She dedicated herself to her craft and attended the New York Film Academy in New York. Her acting training enabled her to gain hands-on experience on camera and behind the scenes. She recently graduated and was cast as “Diane and Vicky” in an Off-Broadway play called “Cherish Every Precious Moment” by Michel David of The Inspirational Theater. Currently, she is an Associate Producer at Shake The Tree Productions and works alongside Toni D’Antonio and Lou Martini, Jr. of Dirty Martini Productions.
