Jessica Roland has seen better days: on the brink of divorce, her sitcom career is in the gutter and she's relocated to a shitty apartment in Elizabeth, NJ. When she discovers that her husband is hiding 10 million in assets in a bank in India, she wants her half. Moments later her agent calls with a role in a Bollywood film...unbeknownst to both of them, this film is a fake, mounted by her husband in an effort to get her out of the country and disappear... permanently. She lands in Mumbai and is whisked into an escapade of colorful costumes, musical numbers, dance steps she can't quite get, assassins, bounty hunters and romance.​
