Abigail, a former sex worker trying to rebuild her life, agrees to be a surrogate for Porter and Braxton, a gay couple desperate for a child. As she moves in with them, unsettling events unfold around a black antique baby carriage they purchase. Abigail starts experiencing vivid nightmares, supernatural occurrences, and an increasing sense of dread as the pregnancy progresses.​

As tensions rise between the trio, Abigail reaches out to her estranged sister, Penelope, who warns her of their family’s past dealings with dark forces. Penelope arrives to help, but the carriage’s influence grows stronger, culminating in a horrifying climax where the entity tied to it seeks to claim the unborn child.
